Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Copyrader (copyrader.com) collects, why, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and Google account identifier.
• Documents and reports: the files you upload, and the similarity and AI-writing scores and reports produced for them.
• Purchases: which credit package you bought, the amount, the payment reference and whether it succeeded. We do not receive or store card numbers.
• Technical records: IP address and request logs, used to keep the service secure and to limit abuse.

2. How we use it

• To run your account, scan your documents and show you your reports.
• To take payment and keep an accurate record of your credits.
• To send service emails, such as password-reset links.
• To prevent fraud and abuse and to fix problems.

We do not sell your information and we do not use your documents for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

• Our scanning partner receives each document you submit, through a short-lived private link, to produce your reports.
• Our payment partners (Paystack or Bachs) process your payment and receive the details you enter at checkout.
• Cloudflare hosts the service, stores your data and delivers our emails.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

4. How we protect it

Documents are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible, and only you can open your documents and reports from your account. Connections to Copyrader are encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a breach affects you.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your account, documents and reports while your account is open so you can come back to them. Payment and credit records are kept for as long as accounting and tax rules require. You can ask us to delete your documents or your whole account at any time.

6. Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to how we use it. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.

8. Children

Copyrader is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above, and tell you by email if the change is significant.
