Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Copyrader (copyrader.com). By creating an account or buying credits you agree to them.

1. The service

Copyrader lets you upload a document and receive two reports for it: a similarity report and an AI-writing detection report. Scans are carried out by a specialist scanning partner on our behalf. Most scans finish within an hour, but timing is not guaranteed.

2. Your account

You must give a working email address and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has accessed it.

3. Credits and payment

• One credit pays for one scan of one document. Prices are shown in Nigerian naira (NGN) before you pay.
• Payments are handled by our payment partners. We never see or store your card details.
• Credits are added to your account only after the payment partner confirms the payment to us.
• A credit is used only when a scan completes. If a scan fails or is cancelled, the credit is returned to your balance automatically.

4. Refunds

All sales are final. Purchased credits are not refundable or exchangeable for cash, except where the law requires otherwise. If you were charged but did not receive your credits, contact us and we will put it right.

5. Your documents

• You keep all rights to the documents you upload. You confirm you have the right to upload them.
• You allow us and our scanning partner to process each document only to produce your reports.
• Do not upload anything unlawful, or anything that contains malware.

6. What the reports mean

Similarity and AI-writing scores are automated estimates. They can be wrong in both directions and are not proof that a document was copied or written by AI. A report is information to help you review your work; it is not a guarantee that any school, publisher or employer will accept it. Decisions you make based on a report are your own.

7. Acceptable use

Do not resell access without our written agreement, attempt to access other users' documents, disrupt the service, or use it to break the law. We may suspend an account that does.

8. Availability and liability

We work to keep Copyrader available but provide it "as is", without guarantees of uninterrupted service. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

9. Changes and closure

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continuing to use Copyrader means you accept it. You can stop using Copyrader at any time and ask us to delete your account.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
